I took a test drive in one before getting my Z. Back when I had a 2000 Civic Si with intake, header and exhaust. Honestly it didn't feel any faster than my Si. Maybe it was a bit but not by much. Granted it is RWD but at the time I think I'd rather have purchased an Acura RSX-S or 350Z if I was going to get a new car. The other thing that turned me off was the interior. The inside of the car didn't feel sporty it felt tacky....less like a sports car and more like an import tuner car. I mean the parts didn't seem like they were made by APC but perhaps Matrix. lol Just missed the mark for me.
